Film

I have a keen interest in filmmaking and have made three short films to date. I'm planning to continue my filmmaking journey and will be studying Creative Media Production and Technology at college this year.

‘Un-fatal Flaw’

Shot on location in Stamford, Northamptonshire, 'Un-fatal Flaw' is a 12-minute film, which takes its inspiration from the genre of horror and uses dramatic irony to create a unique plot twist. Unexplained events begin to happen, when a group of friends go to stay in an old house inhabited by a lonely female ghost. Searching for the perfect companion to help her haunt the place, she crosses all but one of the unsuspecting friends off her list…

‘The Stand-in’

At the Young Film Academy Saturday Film School, I also shot an 8-minute short film entitled: ‘The Stand-in’. A spoof of police crime dramas, it's a film within a film, as it’s set in a TV studio. When the stand-in hijacks the main character’s role and goes completely off script, the production team finally get the performance they are looking for.

‘Doomatories’

Whilst attending the Young Film Academy's Summer School, I worked collaboratively with a team of other young people to write, film and edit a 3-minute short film called: ‘Doomatories’. Tapping into the teenage obsession with horror and ghost stories, it’s set in a school dormitory where allegedly three girls once mysteriously disappeared. Myth quickly becomes a reality for the current occupants of the dorm.
